We hope visitors to the shop will find a relaxing, friendly browsing experience. Our friendly staff are always on hand with advice on the right book (for the right person if it's a gift). And you can enjoy coffee (and cake) while you browse, or sit and relax in our courtyard garden. Our aim is to be the bookshop you would most want to visit.

We welcome your feedback on our shop and suggestions for authors or titles you would like to see in stock.

Mostly Books can also help with the following:

• We can order most books to arrive for collection within 48 hours
• We can arrange for orders to be shipped directly to your door (or any door)
• We can locate out-of-print, hard-to-find and rare books
• We can suggest new and alternative authors, and gift ideas
• We stock a fantastic range of book related mugs, cards and other gifts (including the design classic Penguin book mugs, and Charlie and Lola mugs and stationery), all of which we are happy to fulfill through telephone requests and postal orders
• We have a regular storytime for toddlers - at 2pm every Thursday
• We have three bookgroups - two in the evening, one during the day - please contact us to get further details.
• We plan to launch children's reading groups and a review club (please contact us for further information)
• We host regular author talks and other book-related events
